James Hurt is an Associate Attorney with Dyer, Garofalo, Mann, & Schultz where he focuses his practice on Personal Injury. Prior to becoming a practicing attorney, James worked in the firm’s litigation department where he concentrated on research and writing. James also spent time externing as an Assistant Prosecutor for the City of Dayton. James received his undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton where he majored in Political Science and played Varsity baseball for the Flyers. In 2016, James received his Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law. James graduated cum lade from UD and was a Board Member on the school’s Law Review.
When asked about his role at DGM&S, James stated, “I enjoy fighting for my clients and being a part of their road to recovery from their injuries. Life is difficult enough as it is – when you add in disabling injuries and having to deal with insurance companies it makes life that much tougher. I enjoy being able to help relieve my clients of that burden and allow them to focus on getting healthy and returning to normal life.” James Hurt is licensed in Ohio and practices in the area of Personal Injury.
